At the end of a working day
Well I've never blogged before and I didn't want anything I wrote to be a personal journal but I guess I have to start somewhere. I'm sitting here in Sheffield, England trying to get to grips with a new university course (I'm classed as a mature part time student) while I digest the latest job rejection. Luckily I have a job but, well we all want more for our families.Which brings me back to the bigger , wider picture. we all want a better world , right?
I thought it would be good for me (and maybe you) to reflect on this and that and try to get closer to the truth on current issues. The biggest for me at the moment is the war on terror. I'm having trouble understanding how death and suffering can make the world a better place. I'm also having trouble understanding how President Bush and Prime Minsiter Blair can belive that the citizens of Iraq can accept that they are being allowed to elect their own government free of external influence - its so naive of them. Or is it naive of me to believe that what they say is what they trully believe.
Any takers......
